The Long Beach Leprechaun Run - Kids Dash, 1 Miler, 5k, 10K, & Half Marathon by Califlow Runs 2027

The Long Beach Leprechaun Run begins near the sand at 5100 E Ocean Blvd in Long Beach, California, close to Granada Beach and Rosie’s Dog Beach. This St. Patrick’s Day-themed race morning offers five distances: Half Marathon, 10K, 5K, 1 Miler, and Kids Dash. The longer races start first, followed by the 5K and 10K, then the 1 Miler and Kids Dash. Late starts are not permitted. The races are chip timed, the course is marked, and water and aid stations are provided every two miles. This CaliFlow Runs event welcomes families, with walkers and strollers integrated into the field. The course follows the Long Beach waterfront, aligning with the organizer’s emphasis on Southern California beaches, parks, and waterfront paths. Race-day elements embrace the leprechaun theme: Irish cheer zones, a costume contest, hidden golden coins with prizes, finish medals, festive refreshments, and photo opportunities featuring pots of gold and rainbows. Children can participate in the Little Leprechaun Dash and a Shamrock Treasure Hunt.
