Le Christmas in July, une tradition de 20 ans, c'est l'événement cycliste le plus sûr en North Carolina. Il y a de la sécurité à toutes les intersections, avec un support "sag" sur chaque parcours et des ravitos tous les 10-15 miles. La bouffe est fournie par Christians United of Southern Randolph County.
Le Sleigh Ride permet de récolter des fonds pour les besoins de Noël des enfants du coin, notamment des vêtements, des chaussures et des jouets.
