Union County Sheriff’s Office (UCSO) Deputy Dash 5K Trail Run Presented by Echo Sierra Tactical 2026

The UCSO Deputy Dash is a 5K trail run held at The Simpson Event Center in Monroe, North Carolina. Runners begin in the morning, with the event concluding around midday. Echo Sierra Tactical presents this race, which also provides a virtual 5K option for those wishing to support the cause without participating on the trail. The run commemorates Sgt. Jeff Greene, the sole line-of-duty fatality in the Union County Sheriff’s Office's history. All proceeds benefit the UCSO Foundation. Following the race, attendees can visit an expo featuring local vendors, food trucks from Union County and surrounding areas, and raffle drawings. Trail runners will receive a finisher medal, UCSO merchandise, a race bag containing coupons and samples, and raffle tickets. Virtual runners will also receive a finisher medal.
