Walk for Education is a fall 5K and 1-mile run/walk centered on local public schools, where runners and walkers share the event rather than a runners-only field. The race welcomes all ages and fitness levels, supporting students, teachers, and school district initiatives.
Organizers include student performances, music, giveaways, snacks, and refreshments on race morning. The previous edition had over 1,200 registrations, its largest turnout to date, and those unable to attend can still donate to support public education.
