WinterFest 5k & Fun Run

The WinterFest 5k & Fun Run is a holiday-season run/walk held at Carpenter Park in Thornton, Colorado. Both races commence at 10am MST. The primary event is a chip-timed, scored 5k suitable for runners and walkers. Alternatively, the Fun Run/Walk offers an untimed route of approximately 0.75 miles for those seeking a shorter, more relaxed option. The event is connected to Thornton’s WinterFest celebration, making the race one component of the day's activities. Following the race, attendees are welcome to enjoy ice skating, a Holiday Marketplace, visits from Santa, and a heated beer garden. Participants will also receive a warm beverage in a festive collectible mug at the finish line.
