Yellowstone Gateway 30K

The Yellowstone Gateway 30K takes runners through terrain where "Yellowstone is more Valuable than Gold." It begins at the Sage Lodge and follows a course of off-road trails, gravel roads, USFS dirt roads, and scree-covered jeep paths. This challenging route ascends through the historic Yellowstone City gold settlement and past abandoned mines in Emigrant Gulch, a deep gorge with steep canyon walls. The course includes a demanding 10-mile climb followed by an 8-mile downhill, featuring a descent along Emigrant Creek. Runners should expect wet feet at creek crossings due to slick rocks. This is a cup-less race, so bring your own bottle or bladder, before finishing at Chico Hot Springs Resort.
