Berglauf Nationalpark Thayatal Hardegg is an evening mountain run near Hardegg in Austria's Thayatal National Park, beginning at 6:00 p.m. in early June. The race covers approximately 7.5 kilometers with 310 meters of elevation gain, offering experienced runners a solid uphill challenge while remaining accessible for recreational athletes.
The course begins at the border bridge, ascends to a mountain finish on the Maxplateau, crosses Hardegg twice, and concludes at the National Park Center. Participants receive food in the finish area, and the event concludes with an awards ceremony at the National Park Center. This is a relatively new race series; its fourth edition features the same compact course around Hardegg.
