Graz Marathon

The Kleine Zeitung Graz Marathon takes place over an October weekend in Graz, featuring more than just a 42.2 km race. The program extends from the marathon down through the half marathon, quarter marathon, relay marathon, City Run 5.0, Inklusion City Run, Nordic Walk 5.0, health competitions, and a family run. This variety caters to serious racers, casual runners, walkers, children, and families. The runner logistics are practical: start numbers are collected at Hervis in CITYPARK, start blocks are arranged, pacemakers and aid stations provide support, and runners have access to changing rooms, showers, massage, Running Doctors, timing, results, certificates, photos, and medal engraving. Elite runners have dedicated categories, children can participate in the Junior Marathon, Bambini Sprint, and Maskottchenlauf, spectators are guided to key viewing spots, and the weekend includes a sports expo, award ceremonies, partner runs, an environmental euro initiative, and information on public transport, parking, road closures, hotels, and race packages.
