Park-Cross Böheimkirchen is a small cyclocross race in Böheimkirchen, with about 50 riders on the start line in the reported edition. The race ran in harsh winter conditions: roughly 30 cm of fresh snow, temperatures around -5 C, and a course that forced riders to switch constantly between riding, sliding, and running.
The first laps went through deep snow, and two climbs plus a cross passage could only be handled on foot. As the snow packed down, the course turned icier and more slippery, so crashes were expected; even Hans Bartl had to get off the bike in a corner. The hardest detail was mechanical as much as physical: shoes and pedals froze, making it difficult to clip back in. Bartl still finished 2nd in Master II and 17th overall, while Oliver Stuckler placed 4th in Master I and 26th overall.
