PIUT 100 and PIUT 85 are ultra-distance trail races based at Badesee in See, Austria, with runners choosing either 100 km or 85 km. The races are held in July, when See can be warm by alpine standards: typical temperatures run from about 15°C to 25°C, with sunny days common and average rainfall around 75 mm.
Both distances start and finish at Badesee, so the event is centered on the lake rather than a point-to-point journey. July is the hottest month there, so hydration is a real planning detail, not just generic race advice. Registration is handled through paznaun-ischgl.com, and runners should check the organizer’s details before signing up.
