The Last Hour 2026

The Last Hour is the final 8 km fun run in the Happy Hour Friday Night Series, held at Vanderwater Conservation Area in Thomasburg, Ontario. It's a Friday evening trail race on gently rolling terrain, with a deliberately informal setup: manual timing, no placement awards, bib pickup shortly before the start, and no aid stations on the course. The route uses wide trails through pine groves, old boulder fields, and sections near the Moira River. It suits people who want to run with friends as much as those chasing a hard effort. The field is intended for experienced trail runners and newer runners alike. Anyone who completes all three Happy Hour races—The First Hour, One More Hour, and The Last Hour—receives a custom Dirty Soles medal and prize at The Last Hour.
