The Bremgarter Reusslauf begins the Swiss national running season in Bremgarten, Aargau, on a February race day centered on the Reuss river. Participants can select from 6.2 km, 10.0 km, 10.3 km, or the 21.1 km half marathon. Shorter 1.1 km and 1.8 km courses are available for younger runners.
The half marathon consists of two laps, featuring approximately 120 meters of elevation gain and 122 meters of descent. The 10.25 km route is largely flat, runs alongside the Reuss, and includes about 60 meters of uphill sections. The course setting covers the river area near Bremgarten and offers views of the old town. This race is included in the Masters Laufcup, az Goldläufe, and Wasserschloss Trophy circuits, holds Swiss Running Member status, provides the Swiss Runners Ticket, and supports a “5 francs for the youth” initiative.
