Trail De La Dent De Broc

Trail De La Dent De Broc is a mountain trail race in the canton of Fribourg, Switzerland, offering two one-loop courses: 14 km and 23.5 km. It takes place in late August and is designed for runners accustomed to steep terrain, featuring 600 m of elevation gain on the shorter course and 1,540 m on the longer one. The race is held in the vicinity of the Dent de Broc in the Swiss Prealps, near Gruyères. The nearby Dent du Chamois reaches 1,839 m east of Gruyères, and a trail ascends its summit from the Col de La Forcla. This provides a clear picture of the local landscape: high pastures, mountain paths, and significant ascents, distinguishing it from a flat forest run.
