The Wylandlauf begins and ends at the Sporthalle in Andelfingen, located in Switzerland’s Zurich Wine Region. This countryside running event, held in September, features a main ZKB Zuerilauf Cup race of 14.4 km with 90 meters of elevation gain. Shorter race options are available for casual runners, juniors, youth runners, children, and walkers.
The course crosses fields and passes rows of vineyards, with approximately 60% of the terrain consisting of natural paths instead of paved surfaces. The 7.15 km distance is offered in multiple formats, such as Run for Fun, junior races, and Walking/Nordic Walking. Younger participants can select from youth races, including a 0.55 km Kids Run. Sport-Club Alten of Andelfingen organizes the event. Its inclusion in the ZKB Zuerilauf Cup provides a local race-series atmosphere, distinguishing it from a standalone village run.
