Běh Akátkami

Běh Akátkami is a small evening running race in Brno’s Židenice district, centered on Tvrdonická street. The main race begins at 18:00, with women and men starting together. A children’s race takes place shortly before, at 17:45. Registration opens at the venue from 17:15, making the event compact and local rather than a lengthy race-day production. The route follows a 1.6 km circuit. Women complete two laps for 3.6 km, while men run three laps for 5.2 km. Children of any age may participate, with their lap distance determined before the start. The entry fee is 150 CZK, payable during registration. Runners can reach the venue via trolleybus lines 25, 26, or 27 to Pálavské náměstí. Parking is available in nearby streets, a bag-drop tent is provided at the venue, and water is offered post-finish. Results are announced after the final runner finishes. Lenka Křečková directs the race, and Vítězslav Khýn serves as chief judge.
