Malá cena Velké Verandy is a short forest cross-country race in Choceň, a town in the Ústí nad Orlicí district of the Pardubice Region. The race is also called Pětka, even though the main route is 4.3 km, and the first category starts in the morning from Velká Veranda. It is run as a trail-style cross-country event with interval starts, so runners go off separately rather than all at once.
The course uses forest roads and narrow paths, with only about 400 m on asphalt. It is not flat: the route climbs 200 m over 4.3 km, and the way is marked with flags. K. O. B. Choceň organizes the race, which is open to runners of all ages and ability levels. The best runners in each category receive cash and material prizes, and everyone can stay for the final raffle.
