Memoriál MUDr. Josefa Podmolíka - Běžecký festival Otrokovice 2026

The Memoriál MUDr. Josefa Podmolíka - Běžecký festival Otrokovice features a certified 4.2 km road lap as its core. This running festival takes place in November in Otrokovice, located in the Zlín region of the Czech Republic. Participants can select from a full marathon, half marathon, 10 km, 4.2 km race, or relay. Additionally, there are separate shorter races for children, ranging from 400 m to 1.7 km. The start and finish are located near Lanáček Otrokovice, a children's ropes course in the Baťov area. The course itself is on asphalt, winding through residential streets and alongside the river. The half marathon involves five laps, the marathon ten, and the half marathon relay allows teams of up to five runners to share the distance. This race commemorates Dr Josef Podmolík, a three-time Czech marathon champion, and is organized by the athletics section of TJ Jiskra Otrokovice.
