O lukavický kahan

The O lukavický kahan is a road race held in Lukavice, a village within the Chrudim District of the Pardubice Region. The primary race covers 7 km, commencing in front of the Municipal Office, and is organized by the local TJ Sokol Lukavice club. It is also known by the nickname Pětka and features children’s races alongside adult categories. The course consists of road loops through the village and its adjacent areas, featuring a gently rolling terrain instead of a flat city path. Younger children compete in a 350 m race, older children run either 770 m or 2 km, juniors and women contest 3.5 km, and the men’s categories complete the full 7 km. The top three finishers in children’s races receive medals and prizes, while the top five adults are awarded a prize or voucher. The overall male and female winners receive an additional bonus.
