The Göllnitz-Schmooksberglauf is a running event held in late June in Diekhof, a district of Laage in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, organized by Sportclub Laage. It is a road and off-stadium race connected to the Laufcup Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and the Intersport Nachwuchslaufcup, catering to adult cup runners and younger age groups. The main race covers 10.5 km for many senior adult categories, with a 5 km option for juniors from under-14 upwards, older women and men, and a 2 km race for children aged under 10 to under 12.
The name originates from Schmooksberg, the local hill reaching 127.5 meters, which serves as the race's most distinct landmark. The inaugural event attracted nearly 200 participants from Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, with athletes traveling from Ruegen and Zarrentin. The mayor of Laage also competed. Accounts from the first race note a special ranking, competitive cup racing, a sprint up Schmooksberg, Sportclub Laage's effective organization, and light rain that did not dampen the mood.
