Abendlaufserie Erfurt, Finale

The Abendlaufserie Erfurt is a series of free 10 km evening races held in Erfurt, Germany, organized by Lauf- und Triathlon-Verein Erfurt e.V. Runners gather on Wednesday evenings for an 18:00 start. The regular series takes place at Am Reitplatz, with the final race located at Schützenstraße 4. There is no pre-registration, no entry fee, and no late-entry charge. The format is straightforward: arrive, run, and have your time recorded. The races feature varied 10 km routes instead of a single repeating course. One route consists of two 5 km laps, another is a flat 10 km loop, and a third is a more challenging out-and-back course. The finale is also a 10 km out-and-back cross-country run. Every finisher gets a certificate with their time, contributing to the series' understated club-race atmosphere rather than a large-scale event feel.
