The Alzenau Triathlon is a sprint-distance event held in Alzenau, a town in Lower Franconia, Bavaria, Germany. The race features a short, beginner-friendly format: a 0.50 km swim, a 22 km bike ride, and a 4.60 km run. A sprint relay is also offered, allowing teams to divide the swim, bike, and run segments. LA-Team Alzenau 01 organizes the event, supported by the local Alzenau water rescue group. Approximately 400 individual starters and 50 relay participants are expected.
The race takes place around Meerhofsee, the Unterwald area, and Prischoßstadion Alzenau. Spectators can view the action at the lake, in the stadium, and along the course. It is designed for recreational athletes, novice triathletes, and individuals seeking to try a triathlon at a shorter distance. The Alzenau area provides a natural setting with local lakes and ponds. Each participant will be photographed during the race. The event has a history of multiple editions and receives sponsorship from local partners.
