KICK & RUN at the Förderturm in Bönen is a small event in Bönen combining running with soccer shots. Lauffreunde Bönen organizes it. The format consists of seven laps, each 1.34 km, totaling 9.38 km. After each lap, participants take a shot at a mini-goal.
Runners take their shot from approximately three meters, with a reduced distance for children. Individuals can compete alone or as part of a team of two to four, with each team member required to complete at least one lap. RaceResult transponders handle the timing; solo runners wear the chip on their bib, while teams exchange a relay belt in the designated area. The event's participation is modest, with the last edition attracting 16 teams and six solo runners despite persistent rain and challenging course conditions. Organizers aim to increase participation from clubs and schools.
