Koberbachtal-Triathlon - OD & JD 2026

The Koberbachtal-Triathlon takes place in June in Werdau, within the Langenhessen district of Saxony. It features a longer short-course option with a 1.51 km swim, 36 km bike leg, and 10 km run, alongside a sprint race comprising a 750 m swim, 20 km bike leg, and 5 km run. Both race distances accommodate individual competitors and relay teams. SV Sachsen 90 Werdau is the organizing body. The longer individual distance is included in the Saxony state championships. The sprint individual race anticipates the largest participation, with approximately 250 athletes, while the longer individual race expects around 150. Each relay format adds about 50 more participants. This event structure benefits club racers aiming for championship standings, relay teams sharing the three disciplines, and novice triathletes opting for the shorter distance.
