The Lauchringer Triathlon-Nacht is a short triathlon held in Lauchringen, Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany. It takes place near the town’s outdoor swimming pool in late June. The main race is an everyman triathlon with a compact format: 400 meters swimming, 18 kilometers cycling, and 5 kilometers running. The event also includes separate races for children and juniors, catering to participants of all ages and experience levels.
The swim begins with a staggered start, where athletes enter the water every 10 seconds. Following the 400-meter swim, participants proceed to a transition area outside the pool before starting the bike course and then the run. Triathlon-Team Lauchringen organizes the event. For a local race, interest is high: recent numbers showed 453 entrants from eight nations, and the everyman race is already full. The series is preparing its ninth edition.
