The Panorama-Baumwipfel-Lauf begins and ends at the sports field in Oberschwarzach, a village in Lower Franconia, Bavaria. This is a one-day running event featuring nature routes instead of city streets. The primary distances offered are approximately 6 km and 12 km, along with a half marathon of about 21.1 km. The half marathon is distinctive as it guides runners across the Baumwipfelpfad-Steigerwald, a treetop walkway, as part of a challenging route that includes over 300 meters of elevation change.
