MAHLE-Lauf Mühlacker
The MAHLE-Lauf Mühlacker is a street race held in May in Mühlacker, a city in northwest Baden-Württemberg located about twelve kilometers northeast of Pforzheim. The main events are a 10 km run and a 5 km run, with the 5 km race also open to walkers. The program includes Bambini races over 250 meters and 800 meters, and a school run over 1600 meters, catering to families and regular runners alike. RunningForKids organizes the event, which has held more than twenty editions. Mühlacker is the largest city in the Enzkreis district. The Enz river flows through several city districts, and the center of Mühlacker is situated in a flat side valley containing the railway line and station. The ground rises more steeply north of the river valley, with vineyards on those slopes. The event also features a Team Marathon, offering clubs, families, school groups, walkers, and younger children participation opportunities alongside the individual 5 km and 10 km races.
