The Schneeglöckchen-Lauf is a spring running event in Ortrand, a town in southern Brandenburg. Its name translates to Snowdrop Run, named for the small flower that emerges as winter ends and spring begins. Participants can select from children's Bambini races to distances up to 30 kilometers, accommodating families, club runners, and individuals seeking a serious training day.
Up to 5,000 participants attend annually, positioning it as one of Brandenburg's significant running events. The Pulsnitzhalle is a traditional indoor finish area for the race, although the finish has occasionally been moved outdoors when the hall was not accessible. Finishers have been awarded a snowdrop-shaped medal, and the post-race atmosphere has featured typical German race-day refreshments: bratwurst and a cold drink.
