The Starzachlauf begins and ends at the Mehrzweckhalle in Starzach-Wachendorf, a village in Baden-Wuerttemberg, Germany. This October running event features a 10.7 km main race, a 5.2 km hobby run, and a 10.7 km walking or Nordic walking option. Separate races are available for children: approximately 400 m for Bambini, 800 m for kids, and 1300 m for youth runners.
Lauftreff Starzach organizes the race. The atmosphere resembles a local club event with a full morning program rather than a single start. Bib pickup starts early, pre-registration is recommended, and late entries are accepted until shortly before the start for a small additional fee. All races except the Bambini run utilize electronic transponder timing. The event's history has established it locally, with numerous past editions and results recorded.
