Etape Bornholm is a five-stage running race on the Danish island of Bornholm. Runners cover the full marathon distance over five days instead of all at once. The stages utilize different parts of the island, moving from the sand at Dueodde to the forest tracks of Almindingen and the cliffs near Hammershus. Viking Atletik organizes the event, with the final stage concluding inside Rønne Stadium.
The field includes elite, club, and everyday runners, with a prize purse that draws international professionals. Danish runners such as Christian Olsen, Jesper Faurschou, Dennis Jensen, Anna Holm Jørgensen, and Maria Sig Møller are part of its recent competitive history. Olsen has won the race more than once. The event also features a three-day children’s race, and TV 2/Bornholm provides local coverage annually.
