Carenes del Cogulló

Carenes del Cogulló is a trail race held in Rajadell, within Barcelona’s Bages region. The main races begin in the morning, with children’s races scheduled for later in the day. Participants can choose between two adult distances: an 11 km route featuring 250 m of elevation gain and an 18 km route with 750 m of elevation gain. An 11 km popular walk is also available on the same 250 m elevation profile, ensuring the event caters to those not focused on race results. The routes traverse the ridges surrounding Cogulló, utilizing trails and paths instead of flat road running. The more challenging option involves a climb towards Cogulló de Can Torre via the Sierra de Colomers, concluding with a technical descent through the Sierra de Palomas. The Ajuntament de Rajadell and KOMTU organize the event, with assistance from the Diputació de Barcelona. Additionally, the Carenetes del Cogulló offers races for children in 0.5 km, 1 km, and 2 km distances, alongside age categories from U23 to veteran groups and team competitions.
