Carreira Nocturna Rinlo - Ribadeo

Carreira Nocturna Rinlo-Ribadeo is a summer night running event held in A Mariña Lucense, on Galicia’s Lugo coast. The main race covers 9 kilometers, starting in the fishing village of Rinlo and finishing in the center of Ribadeo. Organized by Club Atletismo Ribadeo, the event includes 14 categories and nearly 600 athletes, catering to a broad range of participants beyond just adult road runners. The youngest runners, from pitufo to alevín, compete on a circuit within San Francisco park. The infantil and cadet categories begin their races at the Illa Pancha Lighthouse. The main 9km race attracts close to 400 participants, and the event recently set a new entry record, surpassing the previous mark of 530 participants. Local institutions, sponsors, business representatives, and the athletics club are all involved, demonstrating the event's established place in Ribadeo’s summer sports calendar.
