Carrera de Pepe

The Carrera de Pepe, also known as the Memorial Pepe Martínez Alonso, is a running event held annually in Puerto Real, Cádiz, southern Spain. Traditionally taking place in December, it is organized by Atletismo Puerto Real and Maratón Puerto Real. This event has now reached its 16th edition. One edition was halted after organizers cited a lack of necessary assurances from Puerto Real’s City Council.
