The Carrera Popular de AMIMET is a popular, inclusive race held in Tudela, Navarra. The start and finish lines are located in Plaza Alfonso I El Batallador. This event takes place on a Sunday morning in November, featuring category-based distances ranging from 300 meters for young children to 6,000 meters for older runners and adults. The race welcomes participants with and without disabilities, offering categories for runners, wheelchair users, and handbike participants.
The disability association of La Ribera, AMIMET, organizes this race with support from sponsors and local collaborators. Now in its 35th edition, the Carrera Popular de AMIMET is a long-standing event in Tudela. Its primary goal is to increase visibility for disability through a communal sports day. Approximately 800 bibs were distributed in the last edition, and organizers hope to exceed this figure. The event also provides chip timing, face painting for children, a participant photo booth, and an opportunity to purchase association lottery tickets.
