CXM Tajo Negro

CXM Tajo Negro is a mountain race held in Ojén, a village in Málaga, starting at Plaza de Andalucía. The primary race covers 25.5 km with a 2,250-meter climb, making it a demanding trail run rather than a simple runnable path. Participants have 7 hours to complete it, and a 26 km trail option is also available. The route passes Cerro Nicolás viewpoint, Cruz de Juanar, and the Senda de Mario Zumaquero. The race is named Memorial Mario Zumaquero. It attracts serious mountain runners as it is a stage in the Copa de España en Línea, the Spanish club championship for this discipline, and a stage in the SNS mountain-running series.
