Desafío Canal de Castilla

The Desafío Canal de Castilla is a mountain bike cyclotourism event along the Canal de Castilla in northern Spain, typically held in June. The route runs along the canal corridor between Alar del Rey and Valladolid, making it a long off-road ride rather than a closed-road race. The course connects two canal towns, presenting riders with a clear point-to-point challenge across Castilla y León. Following a pause in the event for personal reasons, organizers encouraged participants to ride the Canal de Castilla independently or with friends, and continued to answer route inquiries via email.
