The Hidrobal Sant Silvestre Calvianera is a 6.7 km New Year’s Eve run in Calvià, on Mallorca’s southwest coast. It starts at the Magaluf Athletics Track at 5 PM, connecting Magaluf with Palmanova on a flat, fast course designed for runners seeking a short end-of-year race. The event upholds the Sant Silvestre tradition: a festive December run featuring timing, medical support, a cloakroom service, race announcers, and activity around the start and finish.
The course runs between two resort towns and concludes with an entrance onto the athletics track, providing a stadium-like finish rather than a typical road one. The first 800 registered participants receive a commemorative technical shirt specific to that edition. Post-race refreshments include hot chocolate with ensaïmada, a traditional Mallorcan way to conclude the event. It attracts both competitive runners and local participants, with winners in the main categories noted alongside strong overall attendance.
