10 km de Tonnay-Charente

The 10 km de Tonnay-Charente is a road race held in Tonnay-Charente, a town situated on the Charente river in western France. The race begins and concludes on the riverside quays at quai de la Libération. This event is organized by the local running club, Running Club Toutes Allures Tonnacquaises. It features a solo 10 km race and a 5 km option. The 5 km race consists of a single loop, while the 10 km race comprises two loops of the same circuit. The course follows paved roads through the town and the adjacent countryside. Course signage is provided, and partial traffic closures are in effect while runners are on the circuit. Participants will run under the town’s suspension bridge, a significant landmark in Tonnay-Charente. The event attracts participants from across the Grand Ouest region of France.
