Challenge du Ruban Rose is a 7-kilometer charity run and walk in Bordeaux, starting at the Miroir d’eau and taking place in October. It supports breast cancer screening, focusing on early detection and funding prevention efforts. Participants may run or walk, making the event suitable for a wide audience, not just competitive runners. The route serves as a walking and running challenge, using simple physical activity to convey a public health message. This is the event's 21st edition, with organizers targeting up to 25,000 participants. Funds raised have benefited local medical institutions such as Institut Bergonié, CHU Bordeaux, and Clinique de Bordeaux Nord.
