The Course de la Sainte-Barbe is a 10 km road race held in Wittelsheim, a town in eastern France's Alsace region. The race starts at 10:00 AM and consists of one full loop through the city. It takes place in November and typically attracts between 600 and 800 finishers, with one recent edition seeing approximately 1,100 runners.
The primary race is for adults. The event also features children's races, which recently had 177 young participants, alongside 920 adult runners. The City of Wittelsheim’s sports department, along with local sports, culture, and leisure associations, helps organize the event. The race has been held for over twenty editions. Joseph Schiro, a previous four-time winner, set the 10 km time record in a recent edition.
