Les Foulées Pélissannaises is a race series held in Pélissanne, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, during an October afternoon and evening. The courses venture into the Costes massif. Options include a supervised 5 km children's run and a 29 km semi-night trail. The shorter program features an 8 km walk through the Provençal countryside and a 10 km nature race with approximately 110 metres of elevation gain. Le Calabrun is the challenging trail option, offering 1,000 metres of elevation gain and starting at dusk, requiring participants to use headlamps.
The day begins with La Ronde des Pitchouns for children aged 5 to 14, organized by the local athletics club, with a snack provided at the finish. The 8 km walk crosses vineyards and olive groves surrounding Pélissanne and the Costes massif; the local tourist office arranges a tasting of regional products along the route. The 10 km race follows paths and single tracks through vines, olive trees, and pines, presenting no significant technical challenges. Le Calabrun explores much of the Costes massif at twilight, passing viewpoints overlooking perched villages, the valley, and the lights of Salon-de-Provence. An aid station is located in the perched village of Auron, and all participants finish at Salle Malicrida in Pélissanne, where a meal is served.
