Les Princes en Foulées is a charity trail race held in Seyssel, utilizing the Mont des Princes as its primary course. The local volunteer group Seyssel Court Pour Offrir established the race to fund health-focused organizations, typically supporting one or two beneficiaries annually. The event offers timed trail runs and walking paths, catering to runners, hikers, younger participants, novices, and those seeking a challenging mountain excursion.
The trail format offers notable flexibility: all participants begin together at a single price point, subsequently selecting from three distances based on their condition. The shortest path measures 9 km with 330 m of elevation gain, suitable for younger runners and beginners to trail running. The intermediate option is 16 km with 750 m of gain, and more experienced runners can extend their route up to 35 km with 1,830 m of climbing. These routes traverse the Pays de Seyssel region surrounding Mont des Princes. The event's origins are linked to founder Josefa Pinto Rubio, her collaborators, and Gigi, a former secretary honored by the association.
