Memorun is a solidarity running weekend held in the Bois de Vincennes, located on the eastern side of Paris, with starts at the Esplanade Saint-Louis in Vincennes. France Alzheimer and related diseases organizes this event around World Alzheimer's Day, connecting running with support for individuals affected by Alzheimer's and related conditions. This race series is relatively new, with a fourth edition noted, and it also provides a remote participation option for those wishing to join from afar.
The course is set within the Bois de Vincennes, offering a parkland environment in the heart of Île-de-France, rather than a tour of city streets. Surrounding the races, a 5,000 m² event village is dedicated to raising awareness of the disease and highlighting the association's work throughout France. Participants can also engage in pre- and post-race activities, including warm-ups and workshops, access catering areas, use a photo booth, and interact with high-level athletes who support France Alzheimer.
