Run and Bike du Miradou - Castelnau-le-Lez 2027

The Run and Bike du Miradou begins at the Palais des Sports Jacques-Chaban-Delmas in Castelnau-le-Lez, near Montpellier in the Hérault. This team event requires two participants to share a single mountain bike, alternating between running and cycling. Available distances include a 15 km race for participants aged 16 and older, an 8 km Discovery race for those 12 and older, and additional shorter formats for youth and children. The course incorporates town paths and off-road segments through Parc du Miradou, the local garrigue, and wooded areas surrounding Castelnau. The terrain is sufficiently hilly to offer a challenge beyond a simple flat course. On clear sections, participants can see views towards Pic Saint-Loup. Teams can be composed of males, females, or mixed pairs. The race is organized by the city sports department in conjunction with Jogging Castelnau and the Municipal Sports Office.
