Salomon Bandol classic 2026

The Salomon Bandol Classic series places trail runners on the beaches of Bandol, a seaside town in the Var on France’s Côte d’Azur. It features two events: the Bandol Classic Summer in June and the Bandol Classic de Noël in December. The summer race is a night run by the sea, with sand underfoot and a choice of three races, including a 5.4 km trail and two 11 km trails. The course utilizes Bandol’s beachside setting instead of a standard road-race layout, which explains the race’s own description that it is “not so Classic.” Approximately 2,500 trail runners participate, with the event described locally as heads in the hills and feet in the water. It originated from an idea formed in late summer by Michèle and another founder. The summer edition continues with a new organizing team while maintaining its popular, seaside-party atmosphere.
