La Coulée Verte is a city-centre half marathon in Niort, in the Deux-Sèvres area of western France, attracting nearly 6,000 runners annually. Now in its fourth decade, the event also features an 8 km race and a children’s race, catering to club runners, first-timers, families, faster athletes, and participants with disabilities.
The routes are urban and described as fast, though not simple straight courses. They wind through central Niort with numerous turns and few long straight sections. Pacers, aid stations, changing rooms, and showers are available, and the event includes a corporate challenge with unique elements.
