The Semi-marathon de Rambouillet is a March half marathon held in Rambouillet, southwest of Paris, organized by the local club Rambouillet Olympique. This is its 38th year. The event caters to both recreational runners and competitive athletes. It also serves as the Yvelines Departmental Championship and a qualifying race for the French Half Marathon Championships.
The course is divided, with approximately one-third passing through town and two-thirds through the Rambouillet forest. Participants will run through the town center before entering forest roads and cycle paths, providing a distinct shift in atmosphere after the initial urban section. The race is well-regarded locally, with organizers referring to it as a valued March event.
