The Tour Pédestre de Villers-lès-Nancy begins and ends at Stade Roger Bambuck in Villers-lès-Nancy, located just outside Nancy in northeastern France. This local running event offers forest courses of 27 km, 17 km, and 10 km. It also includes timed Nordic walking, a hiking option, and short races for children. The longer races feature significant elevation gain: approximately 640 meters for the 27 km route, 400 meters for the 17 km route, and 170 meters for the 10 km route. The 10 km course is officially measured, providing a standard distance for participants seeking that specification.
The routes traverse both town streets and paths on the Villers plateau, commencing near municipal parks in a wooded section of the Nancy area. The terrain varies, offering a natural race feel without major technical challenges. Organized by Association COS Tour Pédestre, the event is also part of the Challenge des 4 trails, connecting it with other regional trail races. The day accommodates various participants: walkers can join with or without poles, younger athletes have 2 km and 1.1 km races, all participants receive a gift, and the top five women and men in the three main races are awarded prizes.
