Trail de Bonifacio

Trail de Bonifacio is a trail running event in Bonifacio, at the southern end of Corsica, organised by the Trailers de l'Extreme Sud. It is a long-running local race series, with more than twenty editions behind it, and the programme also includes its emblematic charity walk. The race is presented as open to different levels, so it is not aimed only at experienced mountain runners. The route changes regularly, with a new course offered for several editions in a row. The current format brings the Strada Vecia trail into the traditional Campu Rumanilu loop, giving runners a course built around local paths rather than a fixed road circuit. The setting is a major part of the appeal: runners move through the Bonifacio landscape while taking on a practical trail challenge, and walkers can join the day through the charity event.
