The race begins and ends within the estate's grounds, with the start line positioned by a Grade II listed hall in the village of Over Peover. Organised by Run Cheshire, this UKA licensed event typically attracts runners seeking a swift summer 10K, preferring it over a trail run. The course proceeds along closed, tranquil country lanes before looping back to Colshaw Hall for the finish. Participants will run past leafy rural roads and catch sight of the Lovell Telescope at Jodrell Bank, providing the course with a distinctive landmark absent in most local 10Ks.
