Gloucester Half Marathon & 10K 2027

Gloucester Park hosts the Gloucester Half Marathon & 10K, a spring race in Gloucester featuring chip timing and a 9:00 am start for the half marathon. Participants can choose between the half marathon or the 10K, with the route incorporating city streets, closed roads, and canal paths. The half marathon begins in Gloucester Park, circles Gloucester Cathedral, and then proceeds through Gloucester and Quedgeley on a closed-road circuit and the Gloucester & Sharpness Canal Path. The 10K offers a flat, traffic-free loop of Gloucester using road, footpath, and towpath. It passes the cathedral, quays, canal, and docks, including kilometre markers, water stations at 4K and 8K, and has seen approximately a thousand runners raise funds for local charities over time.
